Firewall issues
For some reason, for the past few months, every time I download an update of Guild Wars, my computer crashes and I have to restart it. And sometimes the first restart doesn't even work - I get an odd beep sound and then everything freezes.
I then realized that this was my firewall trying to ask for permission to allow GW to run because it has changed. For some reason that causes my computer to crash?
Is there any way to turn this feature off from the firewall? As in, to just allow the program to run regardless of how it has changed?
I'm using PC Tools Firewall btw.
Thanks.

Get rid of PC Tools firewall, it's not very good at all. You could switch to Comodo Firewall which works quite well.

No idea why you'd say that because it's a very lightweight firewall. Try installing just the firewall, no Defense+ or Leak Protection.
Right now it's running under 8,000k in Task Manager.

cfp.exe? Only running at 2,500k on mine.
Seriously, though - get it, and like Tarun said, disable Defense+
I would also advocate disabling Leak Protection, but I can't find any trace of that in my installation. Maybe it leaked out?

On the older Comodo Firewall Pro installs, before it became Comodo Internet Security you'd find that option.
